After my domain expired it changed state to <span style="color: #444444; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 16px;">Redemption state and in that state it cannot simply be renewed. I had to make a special request to my dns provider and pay 125$. Next year I will remember to renew it in time =)</span></span><br />

Ole B.Ole Billehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05787899765881925285noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995707325573678614.post-88660962110720485272012-06-29T13:51:00.001-07:002012-06-29T13:53:33.212-07:00Added a new tool to the box. Xpath evaluatorIve added a new page to the toolbox. http://www.xmltoolbox.com/xpathevaluator.html for now all it does is show the value of the xpath.<br />
<br />
If you paste an xml to the big field and type in an xpath. Then either press enter or tab out of the field and the big field will show the value of your xpath expression.<br />
<br />
Im currently working on the xpath field to have intellisence.<br />
<br />
Kind regards.<br />

<br />
Just wanted to let you know that I bought www.xmltoolbox.com and now the site has moved to the new domain.<br />
<br />
Enjoy =)Ole Billehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05787899765881925285noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995707325573678614.post-87063396507640811772011-07-07T12:28:00.000-07:002011-07-07T23:39:13.771-07:00Bugfix to the xpath generator.A user was kind enough to point out that when generating xpath for list items the xpath was generated wrong. It started at index 0 instead of 1. This is fixed.<br />
<br />
Before when generating xpaths for this xml<br />
<br />
<br />
<root><br />
<list><br />
<listitem>1</listitem><br />
<listitem>2</listitem><br />
</list><br />
</root><br />
<br />
<br />
The first item would result in this xpath.<br />
<br />
/root/list/listitem[0]/text()<br />
<br />
But now it is like this.<br />
<br />
/root/list//listitem[1]/text()<br />
<br />
As it should be. =)Ole Billehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05787899765881925285noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995707325573678614.post-88113162510272322352011-07-07T12:25:00.000-07:002011-07-07T12:25:36.363-07:00Automatic xpath generationAnother feature xmltoolbox has is the ability to automaticly generate xpaths. The tool can be found here <a href="http://xmltoolbox.appspot.com/index.html">xmltoolbox.appspot.com/index.html</a><br />
<br />
If you have an xml that looks like this.<br />
<br />
<br />
<root><br />
<firstchild>content</firstchild><br />
<list><br />
<listitem>first list item</listitem><br />
<listitem>second list item</listitem><br />
</list><br />
</root><br />
<br />
Then you click on the element, attribute or text you want the xpath generated for. For instance if you click on content you will get this xpath.<br />
<br />
/root/firstchild/text()<br />
<br />
If you click on the first and second list item you will get theese values.<br />
/root/list/listitem[1]/text()<br />
/root/list/listitem[2]/text()Ole Billehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05787899765881925285noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995707325573678614.post-65474016799362452102011-07-07T11:36:00.000-07:002011-07-07T12:16:12.430-07:00XmlToolBox - Formatting xml.Hi.<br />
<br />
The most used feature for XmlToolBox is the format xml.<br />
<br />
To use it go to <a href="http://xmltoolbox.appspot.com/index.html">xmltoolbox.appspot.com/index.html</a> and in the big text area add the xml you need formattet. If you for example add<br />
<br />
<rootelement><firstchild>content</firstchild></rootelement><br />
<br />
And press format xml.<br />
<br />
It will be formattet like this.<br />
<br />
<rootelement><br />
<firstchild>content</firstchild><br />
</rootelement><br />
<div><br />
</div>It makes it a bit more readable.<br />
<br />
Kind regards.<br />
